A full recovery is possible – for the whole family.
Whether it be addiction, trauma, mental or physical illness, or simply dysfunctional habits, when one family member isn’t well, it can have negative consequences on the well-being of the rest of the family. As a result, we may not be functioning at our absolute best.
But what if we could take a moment to break this cycle by pausing and reflecting, and in the process, ultimately discovering ourselves?
Cedars’ Discovery Family Program offers just that. Whether you are personally affected by addiction, or seeking alternative paths to healing, this program is an opportunity for you to reconnect with yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
By taking care of yourself first, we can work towards being the best version of ourselves together.
Who is the Discovery Program for?
With the Discovery Program there’s truly something for everyone to discover. Whether you have a close relationship with someone addicted to drugs or alcohol, have experienced trauma, or are looking for general healing, this program is for you.
Often times, we believe that we are alone in our struggles. Over the course of this program, you will embark on a journey of discovery within a safe community of like-minded individuals who are also seeking healing in their families and personal lives – and discover that you are not alone.
For family members of addiction
Addiction is a disease that impacts the entire family system. With this in mind, the Discovery Program has been created to educate participants about addiction and provide family members with the tools to begin their own journey of recovery. Along with the personal benefits, an addict in recovery reuniting with a family who has the education and skills to support the recovering addict has a much better chance at success.
Together, we can support changes that allow everyone to thrive as the entire family breaks the chains of addiction.
