"In my reality the discovery program has given me the tools and knowledge to understand another person’s true struggle with addiction and my real role in supporting their recovery and not controlling it. Concepts like co-dependency and the family of addiction while foreign to me at first now ring true as I see it in myself and where my roles have been. I stand on a new mountain peak with a fresh new view, but it is in the end just another vantage point, nothing has changed but me and in my changing everything is."

friendsDiscover Living
While in Discovery, time is devoted to helping you “come home” to your true self. You will identify and express feelings, discovering how you may sabotage your best interest and your relationships. You may also find out what blocks you from being able to experience real intimacy.

Improving self-worth and acknowledging successes are important themes in the Discovery process. The final outcome is to establish consistency in thinking, feeling, values and action. You will have an opportunity to make sure that you are being the person you want to be and that you are living with integrity.

"I am very grateful for your program, your skills & the service you are providing. J did amazing work there & the transformation is tangible. It is so good to have my whole husband around! The children thank you too - he has become a sponge for positive parenting info & I just can't quite believe the change. I know this was way overdue and he was so ready, that along with Discovery have changed the course of our marriage & family life - thank you."

Continuing Care
As a participant in Discovery you will build an action plan. The focus will be on practical steps to establish balance and congruence in all aspects of your life. Discovery will help you explore the benefits of self-help groups as an on-going resource.

Discovery will provide you with new options and more choices for improving relationships and living the life you want to live.

Discovery is not a program to treat primary addiction disorders. Our registration process includes a screening to make sure that Discovery is safe and appropriate for your needs.
